The Inspired Notebook
These birch vases were a gift from one my favorite Etsy shops a few years ago. I love to plant paper whites in them just after Thanksgiving. The paper whites always bloom in the New Year when I’ve got the winter blues.
I love to dress up these vases for other seasons. The birch feels like a blank canvas to me!
Choose 4 to 5 papers from your scrapbook paper stash. Cut Two 6 x 6 inch squares from each paper choice. Layer up to 2 paper on your die cut machine and die cut leaves. Save the paper scraps for the next step. Place a tack or metal brad through 2 large leaves and adhere to the front of each vase.
Punch 1 inch or 1.5 inch circles from the paper scraps. Sew together a paper garland with circles and leaves.
Wrap the paper garland around a tall vase and tie knot in thread to secure.
