In the Garden Summer Saliva
If you haven’t notice purple blooms are a staple in my gardens. From my whispering lilacs to lavender, lamb ears, and more. It is also found in my wildflowers throughout our woodlands and small natural prairie just behind our rolling backyard. I think my love for purple came from my grandmother; she always filled her garden on the farm with purple too.

Hello Kristy,
Thank you for your link-up! I just found you tonight (6/20/17, well really 6/21/17… it’s getting late! :)) and linked an IG pic. Will work on coming over more often. Your salvia is beautiful! I’ve been taking tons of garden and wildflower photos this spring. Definitely something I really enjoy!
Happy snapping,
Barb 🙂
Thanks for sharing with us Barbara, I look forward to seeing more photos from your garden.
Oh, what a gorgeous color! I love garden flowers and appreciate you sharing your garden on my winter day!
Thank you Betty, I can imagine. Winter can be so dull at times.
Photos of your flowers always make me want to change my mind and rethink giving up a flower garden, but then my knees and body remind me of my age. Those are so lovely, and yes purple flowers are so beautiful. 🙂
