A Quilt of Green Acres in the Midwest
That natural prairie that grows along and in between the pastures and fields reminds of a quilt. Each border and block showcase a unique pattern or design. And all the stitching is perfectly straight like the rows of corn and beans planted in the fields of the Midwest. This quilt is completely green and beautiful in it’s monochromatic nature.
This time of year, you can see the corn growing right on the tall stalks. Most of which is towering over me and I happen to be quite tall for a woman. What towering sights have you seen lately? Share your captures, stories, and projects this week in #LNRSEASONS below!
What quilters would call a “whole cloth quilt”…nice analogy!
