I’ll admit I wasn’t much of a tea drinker other than iced tea until my twenties. While working with a doctor of nutrition I was introduced to real tea. I wasn’t keen on dandelion root tea or sleepy bed time teas. But, I was hooked on the spicy warm flavor of chai tea from the first cup! It wasn’t until recent years after moving across the states from the south to the north that I made tea a part of my daily routines.
It was the long cold winters here that turned me to tea. Chai tea is still hands down my favorite to drink, but chamomile tea is my favorite to create natural bath and body products with. Check it out my recipe for Chamomile Lavender Body Wash. Chamomile has a beautiful natural fragrance and the flower buds are just too pretty not to photograph! Are you a tea drinker too? What’s your favorite?

Lovely post ~ love chai and chamomile tea ~ very creative blog ~ thanks,
Wishing you a fun week ~ thanks ~ ^_^
Thank you Carol
I was introduced to chai tea as an iced tea. Loved it. I rarely drink tea, but my favorite now is Blood Orange that I’ve ordered online. I haven’t tried chamomile. Will definitely look at your Lavendar Body Wash that you make from it. 🙂
Have a great rest of the week.

Patricia, I haven’t tried blood orange tea. Does it have a strong orange taste? Do you drink it cold or hot?
Earl Grey is my favorite. Years ago I had a friend, an old Hungarian woman, she had chamomile tea that her relatives from Hungary would send over to her – it was divine! Would have been perfect for your recipes! Thanks for sharing and have a blessed week!
That sounds incredible June!
I’m not a tea drinker but I think I now need to try chai tea. I loved you simple elegant image.
LOL, thanks Jill.
I love my daily chai tea with frothed milk on top and a sprinkle of cinnamon!
Absolutely, it’s nearly breakfast with frothed milk and cinnamon too!
