Do you ever get tired of the mundane? You know… the humdrum of repeating the same tasks every day. Sorting the mail, washing dishes after dinner, and trying to keep a running stock in your head of the things you need to get done.
Life is about moments and choices. Every day we are given thousands of moments to make unique choices.
Why not choose to make those moments count?
Start with making something for yourself. You have to take a bath today anyway right? So, let’s turn that mundane task around with a homemade all-natural chamomile lavender milk bath. You’ll thank me later.

This homemade milk bath recipe is a beautiful combination of natural ingredients to soothe dry skin while relaxing the body and mind. Loose-leaf chamomile flowers and delicate lavender buds blended with a soothing milk mixture are just the antidotes for much-needed self-care.
In a medium mixing bowl add 2 cups of powdered milk, 1/2 cup baking soda, and 1/2 cup cornstarch. Whisk to combine thoroughly.
Open 4 chamomile tea bags or 4 tablespoons of loose-leaf chamomile and pour it into the milk mixture. Add dried 1 teaspoon of lavender buds and whisk to combine. Next, while stirring add 16 drops of lavender essential oil and 8 drops of chamomile essential oil.
Store milk bath in airtight containers (these are the little jars I used). Add an optional bath soak apothecary tag. Grab a set of Bath Soak Apothecary Tags in the Simple LivingLibrary and check out my favorite essential oils.
How to Use a Homemade Milk Bath:
To use pour 1/2 cup of Chamomile Lavender Milk Bath into a warm bath. Blend into the warm water with the wave of your hand and step in and soak.
