My 4 Step Nightly Skincare Routine
Tackling the research and trial and error of replacing products in my nightly skincare routine is one of the most rewarding things I have done for myself. If you’ve taken my Beginner Natural Bath and Body Course you know I suffered from a multitude of skin issues.
I’ve learned that what we put on our skin matters. Replacing skincare products loaded with chemicals for natural ingredients has made a big impact!
Psst… The little lip pot in the photo is Softening Chamomile Lip Balm. It’s an extra step, but I usually put it on every night before bed too.
Step #1 Cleanse
I wash my face twice a day. Once in the morning and once in the evening. I love my Cleansing-Aloe Vera Face Wash it starts with gentle almond liquid castile soap and ends with balancing jojoba oil. Step #2 Tone
Thanks to my Natural Hydrating Facial Toner I don’t miss a thing when removing my makeup. Witch hazel works as a natural astringent and essential oils just right for my skin type making it worth a step in my nightly skincare routine.
Step #3 Tighten
Did you know caffeine and coffee can benefit our skin in multiple ways? It can fight free radicals, decrease puffiness, tighten skin, and even reduce under eye circles! Unleash its power with Coffee Infused Tightening Eye Cream. I apply it after I’ve cleansed and toned face.
Step #4 Moisturize
The final step in my nightly skincare routine is one of the most important. If I skip moisturizing my face the next morning I will wake up with shine. Dry skin can cause our bodies to overproduce sebum oil. Hence the shine. My recipe for Aloe Vera Face Cream quenches the thirst of my skin while improving the oil production.
